Island Garden and Zero Gravity have been running events out in Long Island now for over 6 years. This 3 court facility is a staple and home base for our Long island events we run. Island Garden is home to one of the largest grassroots programs in Lightning. Jim Fox and his staff do an excellent job in running this facility and program as well.

• Opened October 24, 1998.
• 53,000 square foot facility that is designed to host three basketball games, as well as individual basketball and baseball instruction simultaneously.
• Has been used by the Knicks, Liberty and NCAA men’s tournament as their practice site.
• Home of the Astoria Bank Super League that currently has 305 teams for boys & girls ranging from 3rd through 12th grade.
• Over 120 games are played at Island Garden on a weekly basis.
• Home Of the Long Island Lightning AAU Club
• Over 80 boys and girls teams
