Today’s Program Profile highlights the Lehigh Valley Fever/Force out of Pennsylvania. The 5 Fever teams and 3 Force teams competing this fall are prepped and ready to dominate the Mid-Atlantic with the help of Fever and Force President Dean Reiman and his dedicated staff of coaches.
Coach Dean Reiman created the Lehigh Valley Fever in 2010 with hopes to provide his daughter and some other local players an opportunity to develop their skills and play competitive basketball. Fast forward to 2020, the program now offers a grassroots platform for girls (Fever) and boys (Force) ranging from 5th grade through 11th grade. While Coach Reiman leads the Fever, Matt DeJesus serves as the Force Commissioner and both are committed to making the organization one of the best and most respected AAU clubs in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Both the Fever and Force programs stress the importance of respect and taking care of one another, creating the culture that has developed the Fever/Force Family. The program is committed to finding talented and dedicated players who want to play their brand of unselfish basketball. Due to their relentless efforts towards player development and player recruitment, the program has produced nearly 60 collegiate players since 2013.
An even bigger aspect of the Fever/Force family is their dedication to the local community. Dean and his program have never turned a player away due to financial reasons. Whether it is through a scholarship or fundraising efforts, the program will find a way for every deserving kid to participate in the program. During these unpredictable times, Coach Reiman is also dedicated to keeping everyone in his program safe. The program has an exclusive partnership with St. Luke’s University Health Network that has been a tremendous asset when dealing with COVID-19 policies and procedures.
Zero Gravity is so excited to have the Fever/Force family in our Mid-Atlantic circuit! Be sure to watch out for them this fall and moving into the spring season, as their going to be a can’t miss program at any event they go to!
